Job summary

GpRx 34B Consltnts, LLC is seeking a PRN pharmacist to cover in-person pharmacy operations. Responsibilities include reviewing prescriptions, organizing the pharmacy for efficiency, inventory control, and patient counseling. The role requires a licensed pharmacist with supervisory skills and strong customer service.

The position emphasizes accuracy in dispensing, adherence to regulations, and providing clinical information. On-site work with a focus on quality and compliance is expected.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a pharmacist.
• Degree in Pharmacy (Pharm. or RPh) from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Currently licensed as a registered pharmacist in the state of pharmacy.
• Possess supervisory/management skills and/or experience to supervise the pharmacy.
• Timely and dependable.
• Problem solver with attention to detail in dosage administration and measurement, chemical compounds, medications etc.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and Pharmacy information systems.
• Good organizing and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers, clients, and employees.
• Integrity and compassion.
• Dependable in attendance and job performance.

Responsibilities

• Review and execute physicians' prescriptions for appropriateness and legality.
• Organize the pharmacy efficiently to make the identification of products easier and faster.
• Maintain full control over delivering, stocking and labeling medicines and other products and monitor their condition to prevent expiry or deterioration.
• Listen carefully to customers to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and advice.
• Provide assistance in other medical services such as immunizations, blood pressure measurements, medication therapy management (MTM).
• Prepare medicines when appropriate using correct dosage and materials for each patient.
• Keep records of patient history and all activities regarding medications.
• Supervises, directs, and coordinates all pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
• Create plans to mitigate risks of direct and indirect remuneration focusing on quality and compliance.
• Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Any other tasks related to the pharmacist role as required.
