CVS Health Corporation is seeking a part-time Staff Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations in a customer‑facing store. The role emphasizes safe dispensing, counseling patients, immunizations, and collaboration with the Pharmacy Manager to ensure excellent patient care.

The position requires an active Pharmacist license in the store’s state, an active NPI, and the ability to work nights and weekends. Benefits are available for part-time staff.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time and pivot between tasks to meet patient and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Help manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Oversee the pharmacy as a proxy for the Pharmacy Manager during bench shifts and coach staff.
• Assume Pharmacy Manager’s day-to-day duties when serving as the primary pharmacist on duty.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
• Deliver immunizations and support Technicians to learn to immunize.
• Support inventory management with focus on cold chain protection.
• Ensure operations comply with state Board regulations and CVS policies.
