Job summary

CVS Health in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a part-time Staff Pharmacist to deliver compassionate patient care, ensure accurate dispensing, and support immunization services in our retail pharmacy.

As a key member of the pharmacy team, you will assist the Pharmacy Manager, supervise bench shifts when needed, maintain compliance with state regulations, and help improve access to care for our patients in the community.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and accurate dispensing and counseling for patients.
• Support immunization services and patient care under supervision of the Pharmacy Manager.
• Supervise bench shifts when needed and coach pharmacy staff to ensure performance.
• Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and CVS Health policies.
• Assist in managing inventory, workflow, and patient privacy while maintaining a compassionate approach.
