Job summary

CVS Health, as a Staff Pharmacist in-store, focuses on patient-centered care, supervising the pharmacy team, and ensuring safe, accurate dispensing and immunizations. Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Oversee pharmacy operations during shifts as proxy for Pharmacy Manager.
• Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and labeling.
• Provide counseling and immunizations to patients and support immunization efforts.
• Coach and support pharmacy team to improve performance and patient service.
• Maintain compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and CVS Health policies.
• Assist in inventory management with focus on cold chain protection.
• Resolve insurance and medication issues for patients.
