Job summary

Walmart Inc. in Harvey, LA is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care, dispense prescriptions, counsel patients, and administer immunizations in a fast-paced Walmart Pharmacy.

You will collaborate with a team to ensure HIPAA compliance, deliver high-quality patient care, build relationships with customers, and support community health initiatives while advancing your clinical knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
• Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
• Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (e.g., APhA, School curriculum, State Pharmacy Association).

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders.
• Counsel customers regarding healthcare and prescription medication needs.
• Administer immunizations and other Walmart programs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Model and guide pharmacy staff on customer service approaches.
