Job summary

Walmart Pharmacy is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care to customers in a community setting. You will process prescriptions, counsel patients, and participate in immunization programs while upholding regulatory and company standards.

You will also mentor staff on service quality and ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines, driving patient wellbeing and trust in Walmart’s pharmacy services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required and NABP licensure by the start date.
• Completion of an ACPE accredited Immunization training program required.
• Proven pharmaceutical care experience and ability to counsel patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care and accurately dispense prescription orders.
• Counsel customers on healthcare and prescription needs.
• Administer immunizations and other Walmart programs.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulations.
• Model and guide staff on customer service best practices.
