Job summary

CVS Health in Charleston, South Carolina is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead patient-centred care in the retail pharmacy. You will support the Pharmacy Manager, oversee daily operations, dispense safely, counsel patients, and immunize where permissible while maintaining compliance and high standards of service.

This full‑time role requires an active pharmacist license in the state, an active NPI, and eligibility to dispense under CVS policies.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentration on tasks and quick pivot between tasks to meet patient and business needs
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner and respond to patient needs
• Communication Skills: clear verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: use math for dispensing calculations and planning
• Issue Resolution: handle challenging interactions and choose best course of action
• Physical Demands: be mobile, lift, reach, and work safely for long periods
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
