Position Summary

Join Our Dedicated Team as an Outpatient Oncology Staff Pharmacist at Penn State Health LimeSpring! This part-time role involves working at our Hematology/Oncology center in Lancaster, PA, providing direct patient care and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to optimize treatment plans and ensure efficient, cost-effective care.

Responsibilities

1. Patient-Centered Care: Engage with providers, nurses, and patients, offering education and acting as a pharmaceutical resource.
2. Treatment Plan Optimization: Collaborate to evaluate and refine oncologic and medical treatment plans.
3. Sterile Product Management: Handle and prepare sterile products safely, adhering to USP 797 and 800 regulations.
4. Inventory Management: Assist with pharmaceutical inventory and product acquisition.
5. Quality Improvement: Participate in initiatives to enhance patient care.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8 am - 12 pm (hours negotiable). No evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Sitting occasionally; standing and walking frequently
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling within specified weights
• Climbing, reaching, grasping
