Staff Pharmacist - Part Time

The Meadows Psychiatric Center
Centre Hall, PA

Position: Part-time, non-exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Staff Pharmacist

Responsibilities:

1. Fill orders accurately and check technician-prepared products before release.
2. Maintain pharmacy security and control of substances.
3. Enter orders and patient information accurately.
4. Assist in training new staff and update the Director on daily activities.
5. Support the Director in pharmacy operations.

Schedule: Minimum 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Starting Pay: $70 per hour (depending on experience).

About the Facility: The Meadows Psychiatric Center is a 117-bed private behavioral health care facility on a 52-acre rural campus, providing comprehensive services to diverse age groups. Owned by Universal Health Services, accredited by The Joint Commission, licensed by PA DPW.

Requirements:

• Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited school; PharmD preferred.
• Current PA Pharmacist license in good standing.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and make critical decisions.
• Proven accuracy and timeliness.
• Experience with computer applications including pharmacy systems.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Hospital Requirements: (may be required)

• Negative TB skin test within last 12 months.
• Immunity proof for MMR, Varicella, HepB, and Influenza vaccination as applicable.
