Job summary

Amazon in Kent, WA is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join our team. You will maintain patient profiles, review orders for safety and efficacy, and ensure compliant operation of pharmacy automation systems.

You’ll support clinicians, document communications, and help optimize workflows in a fast-paced online pharmacy. You must hold an active pharmacist license and have strong communication, technical and regulatory knowledge to deliver safe pharmaceutical services.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Science or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and valid license to practice pharmacy
Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of employment
Proficiency with basic computer functions and pharmacy systems
Exemplary interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

Maintain comprehensive customer profiles including medical history and medications
Evaluate physician orders for drug appropriateness, dosage, interactions, and administration route
Operate and troubleshoot pharmacy automation systems with technicians and engineering teams
Dispense controlled substances in accordance with DEA regulations and maintain records
Provide clinical support and collaborate with healthcare team members to resolve medication issues
Implement policies in line with laws and maintain regulatory documentation
Support operations across departments and handle physical tasks as needed
