Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a long-term care pharmacy in Cedar Rapids, IA. Work will focus on accurate dispensing, patient care collaboration, and clinical guidance within a closed-door setting.

You will verify orders, participate in IV/TPN prep, and supervise technicians while maintaining high quality and safety standards. Iowa licensure or ability to obtain licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Active Iowa pharmacist license or ability to obtain licensure.
• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee the accurate and timely dispensing of medications to long-term care facilities.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to resolve medication questions and provide clinical guidance.
• Participate in IV and TPN preparation.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Help maintain high standards of quality, safety, and patient care.
