Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Staff Pharmacist for Newark, DE, on-site, full-time. You will support the Pharmacy Manager, oversee dispensing, immunizations, and patient care while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will coach the team, improve patient experiences, and collaborate with the healthcare team to resolve insurance and medication issues. Regular hours and a 40-hour week are expected.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and coaching of the team.
• Assist Pharmacy Manager during bench shifts and coverage as needed.
• Support immunizations and patient care services per policy.
• Maintain compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and CVS policies.
• Provide compassionate patient-centered service and resolve insurance/medication issues.
