Job summary
CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to support the Pharmacy Manager, oversee staff, and manage all aspects of the pharmacy operation. You will champion patient care, safety, and regulatory compliance while driving service, quality and profitability.
Ideal candidates hold an active pharmacy license, immunization certification, and a PharmD or BSPharm degree; 40 hours weekly with a comprehensive benefits package is provided.
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment.
- Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
- No pending felony charges or convictions involving controlled substances.
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Ensure patient safety and high‑quality pharmacy practice.
- Comply with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Provide excellent customer service and counsel patients.
- Support Pharmacy Manager and supervise Pharmacy Technician staff.
- Oversee inventory, workflow, and loss prevention.
- Contribute to profitability and program execution for patient care.
- Lead with empathy and develop the pharmacy team.
- Implement solutions to improve performance and patient outcomes.
- Adapt to change in a dynamic community healthcare setting.
- Promote a team culture and CVS differentiators.
