CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join our store-based pharmacy team in Saint Joseph, MO. This role supports the Pharmacy Manager, oversees daily operations, and ensures safe, accurate dispensing and patient care.

The Staff Pharmacist will lead by example, coach team members, and help improve patient outcomes through counseling, immunizations, and collaboration with the patient’s healthcare team. Strong adherence to safety and quality is essential.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Overseeing the pharmacy as a proxy during shifts and coaching the team to maintain performance metrics.
• Ensuring compliant pharmacy operations with state rules and CVS Health policies; supporting daily pharmacy duties as needed.
• Delivering immunizations and assisting with prescription fulfillment, inventory control, and patient counseling.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to optimize patient care and resolve insurance or medication issues.
