VCU Health in Richmond, VA seeks a Pharmacist responsible for ensuring safe, effective drug use and patient care. You will review orders, counsel patients, and collaborate with staff to maintain high-quality pharmaceutical services within a fast-paced environment.
Requirements include Virginia licensure within 90 days and a BS in Pharmacy; Pharm.D. is preferred. Willingness to work evenings, nights and weekends is essential to meet patient needs in our hospital setting.
The Pharmacist ensures the overall integrity, safety, rationality, and effectiveness of the drug use control process for all patients in the assigned geographic or specialty area, including the following patient groups: Neonates, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics.
Current licensure with the Virginia State Board of Pharmacy required or obtained within the first 90 days of employment
