Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • The monitoring, screening and verification of all drug-related orders for assurance of proper dosage, route, dosage form, and administration schedule and ensuring expedited preparation and dispensing of all dosage forms by pharmacy personnel.
  • Counsel patients regarding the safe and proper use of their medications.
  • Resolve drug therapy problems, clarify and correct problematic drug orders, and designate pharmacy technicians to perform special assignments.
