Soliant is seeking an experienced pharmacist to support a veterinary-focused, non-sterile compounding pharmacy in Lexington, KY. The contract role will enable dual state licensure in Kentucky and California while contributing to specialized compounding and verification of medications for animal health.

The ideal candidate holds PharmD, current KY and CA licenses, and at least one year of pharmacy experience.

Responsabilidades

• Review and verify veterinary prescriptions for accuracy and safety.
• Perform final pharmacist verification of compounded and dispensed medications.
• Oversee non-sterile compounding operations, including verification of strengths, formulations, calculations, labeling and documentation.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and staff to maintain workflow.
• Communicate with veterinary practices to clarify prescription details.
• Maintain comprehensive pharmacy records and adhere to state and federal regulations.
• Ensure compliance with compounding standards to support quality, accuracy, and safety.

• Background in veterinary or animal-health pharmacy considered a plus
