Responsibilities

• Dispense prescribed medications in accordance with regulations.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and determine formulas/ingredients.
• Direct pharmacy technicians in mixing, packaging and labeling.
• Maintain procedures for quality assurance and controlled substances security.
• Enter patient and medication data; manage costs.
• Instruct interns and medical staff on pharmacy matters.
