Job summary

Walmart Dalton is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care, dispense prescriptions, counsel patients, and administer immunizations in a community-focused setting. This role emphasizes patient wellbeing and top-of-license clinical practice.

You will join a dynamic Walmart Pharmacy team dedicated to quality care, compliance with HIPAA and PHI, and community engagement through health programs and services. This position is based at 98 W Walnut Ave, Dalton, GA 30720-8477.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (e.g., APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).

Responsibilities

Provide pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders.
Counsel customers regarding healthcare and prescription medication needs.
Administer immunizations and other programs developed by Walmart.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Model and provide guidance to the pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches.
