Job summary

Walmart Pharmacy in Thomaston, GA seeks a Staff Pharmacist to provide patient-centered pharmaceutical care, counsel customers, and lead the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality service.

This role requires a licensed pharmacist with ACPE immunization training and a PharmD or B.Pharm degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
• Pharmacy license by entry date
• ACPE Accredited Immunization training program

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders.
• Counsel customers regarding healthcare and prescription medication needs.
• Administer immunizations and other programs developed by Walmart.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Model and provide guidance to the pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches.
