Minimum Requirements:

  • One year of retail experience
  • Proficiency in a second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing)
  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or PharmD
  • Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
  • Ability to handle stressful situations

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a professional, clean, and organized work environment to uphold a positive department image.
  • Provide excellent service and foster a friendly, professional atmosphere with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Adhere to scheduled operating hours and punctuality.
  • Fulfill prescription needs accurately and efficiently, offering patient counseling and pharmaceutical care.
  • Utilize RX computer systems effectively for prescriptions, clinical interventions, and progress reviews.
  • Comply with all relevant laws, including HIPAA, Fraud, Waste, and Abuse, and DEA procedures.
  • Monitor inventory, schedule equipment, and work towards budget goals.
  • Follow policies on security, returns, recalls, sanitation, and record-keeping for compliance and reporting.
  • Ensure all signage and legal notices are correctly displayed and maintained.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the trade area, customers, and competitors.
  • Stay updated on promotions to enhance sales and marketing efforts.
  • Continuously improve personal and professional pharmacy skills.
  • Perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
