As a Staff Pharmacist, you have a critical role at the forefront of delivering our purpose, modeling our values, and demonstrating genuine, authentic care for our patients. You will support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff and be accountable for managing all aspects within your pharmacy, including:

A key component of the Staff Pharmacist role is promoting health through patient care programs. Additionally, you will:

  1. Lead with Heart – display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
  2. Motivate, inspire, and develop your Pharmacy Support Staff, leveraging their strengths and addressing development opportunities
  3. Identify critical business opportunities and develop solutions to drive growth and improve performance
  4. Implement solutions effectively by leading your team to achieve goals
  5. Adapt to change and thrive in a dynamic healthcare setting
  6. Seek growth opportunities, collaborate, and deliver better outcomes
  7. Align others around purpose to gain support and commitment

  9. Apply knowledge to improve health outcomes and differentiate CVS from competitors

Required Qualifications

  • Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
  • Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA)
  • No pending felony charges or convictions involving controlled substances

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree

Pay Range

The typical pay range is $60.00 - $74.00 per hour. Actual offers depend on experience, education, location, and other factors. This role may include bonuses or incentives.
