As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be at the forefront of delivering our purpose, modeling our values, and demonstrating authentic care for our patients.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunization practices.
2. Supporting the Pharmacy Manager by overseeing the pharmacy operations during shifts, coaching team members, and providing performance feedback.
3. Assuming the Pharmacy Manager’s duties when serving as the primary pharmacist-on-duty.
4. Ensuring safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety protocols.
5. Contributing to positive patient experiences through empathy, collaboration, and proactive issue resolution.
6. Offering and delivering immunizations, supporting pharmacy technicians in immunization training.
7. Managing pharmacy inventory effectively, with attention to cold chain products.
8. Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, escalating issues when necessary.
9. Maintaining clinical and technical skills, seeking opportunities for professional growth.
10. Supporting clinical services like testing and prescribing where permissible.
11. Adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, standards, and CVS policies to ensure safety and security.
