1. Managing patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizations.
2. Overseeing pharmacy operations in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager, coaching team members, and providing performance feedback.
3. Assuming the Pharmacy Manager’s duties during shifts as the primary pharmacist-on-duty.
4. Supporting safe prescription fulfillment and following workflow procedures.
5. Enhancing patient experience through empathetic care, collaboration, and resolving medication or insurance issues.
6. Administering immunizations and supporting pharmacy technicians in immunization procedures.
7. Managing inventory effectively, especially cold chain products, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
8. Ensuring pharmacy operations adhere to state and federal regulations, escalating issues when necessary.
9. Maintaining clinical skills and seeking opportunities for professional growth.
10. Supporting clinical services like testing and prescribing, where permitted, to improve patient outcomes.
11. Upholding CVS Health policies, patient privacy, and workplace safety standards.
