A growing outpatient pharmacy, located within a thriving medical facility in Kokomo, Indiana, is actively seeking a Staff Pharmacist. This newly launched pharmacy operates as part of a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and serves a diverse patient population in close coordination with on-site physicians, pediatricians, and adult care providers.
The previous pharmacist has been promoted internally, and we re now looking for someone to take on this essential role in the pharmacy s next chapter.
Position Snapshot
Location: Kokomo, IN
Start Date: Immediate
Schedule:
Monday Thursday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Daily lunch break: 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
No weekends. No holiday shifts.

Pharmacy integrated within a medical office

What You ll Be Doing
As Staff Pharmacist, you ll support daily pharmacy operations, ensure medication safety and compliance, and help deliver a high level of patient care. Your work will include:
Filling and verifying prescription orders for dispensing or delivery
Monitoring drug storage and compliance with regulatory standards
Managing pharmaceutical inventory and ordering supplies
Addressing patient inquiries and coordinating with prescribers
Supporting telepharmacy and virtual care initiatives
Ensuring accuracy of records, including patient data and insurance documentation
Contributing to daily workflow improvements and pharmacy upkeep
Partnering with pharmacy leadership to drive service excellence
Required Credentials
Active Indiana pharmacist license
Immunization certification
Strong communication and organizational skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus
Resume, license verification, references, and a completed skills checklist are required
