Now Hiring: Staff Pharmacist Community-Focused Role in Kokomo, IN

Are you a licensed pharmacist looking to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative healthcare environment? Join a growing community pharmacy in Kokomo, Indiana, located directly within a primary care practice serving a diverse patient population.

This newly launched pharmacy (opened June 3rd) is part of a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and operates under the 340B program, offering you the chance to work closely with physicians, pediatricians, and adult care providers.

Position Overview:

We re seeking a Staff Pharmacist to take over a vital role in daily pharmacy operations. The previous pharmacist has been promoted to Director, and we are ready to bring on a motivated professional to step into this key position.

Schedule:

• Monday Thursday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

• Friday: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM

• Lunch Break: 12:00 PM 1:00 PM

• No weekend or holiday shifts

What You ll Do:

• Accurately fill and verify prescriptions

• Manage pharmacy inventory and ensure safe storage of medications

• Communicate with prescribers to confirm prescription details as needed

• Maintain records for inventory, patient profiles, and insurance claims

• Address patient concerns and provide a high level of customer care

• Support telepharmacy initiatives when necessary

• Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager on staffing and performance

• Monitor compliance with all pharmacy laws and best practices

What We re Looking For:

• Active Indiana pharmacist license

• Current immunization certification

• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

• Spanish-speaking ability is a plus but not required

• Required: Resume, skills checklist, references, and license verification
