Staff Pharmacist Full-Time | 13-Week Contract-to-Hire
Location: Fairfield, OH

We re hiring a dedicated Staff Pharmacist for a full-time contract opportunity with the potential to transition to a permanent position after 13 weeks. This role is ideal for pharmacists with a passion for operational excellence and a strong background in fast-paced pharmacy environments.

Available Shift Options:

  • Morning: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM

  • Midday to Evening: 12:00 PM 8:00 PM

  • Evening: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM

  • Late: 4:00 PM 12:00 AM

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage pharmacy technicians and data entry staff to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with internal protocols and delivery timelines

  • Monitor and manage inventory processes, including technician-led prepacking and medication ordering

  • Evaluate all new prescriptions for correct dosing, contraindications, interactions, and allergy considerations before dispensing

  • Support controlled substance protocols, including ordering, secure storage, documentation, and inventory of Schedule II medications

Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted Ohio Pharmacist License

  • Previous experience in a high-volume retail or compounding pharmacy setting is preferred
