Job summary

Quality Life Services is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to support our Quality Pharmacy operations. You will fill prescriptions for a range of medications, determine dosages and interactions, supervise technicians, and ensure accurate dispensing and timely delivery to facilities.

Ideal candidates hold a Pennsylvania pharmacist license, a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, and can assist in solving drug-related questions while supporting the pharmacy director on special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy required.
• Registered pharmacist licensed in Pennsylvania in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Fills prescription orders for all medicinal agents; oral, topical, parenteral.
• Determines prescription dosage, drug choice, administration, and interactions.
• Supervises technicians in prescription data entry, packing and compounding medications.
• Verifies finished work of non-pharmacist staff.
• Directs timely delivery of medications and supplies to facilities.
• Answers drug-related questions and assists with problem solving.
