Job summary

Belmar Pharma Solutions is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to perform initial and final prescription verifications and provide counseling to patients and prescribers. The role involves supervising technicians and maintaining high standards of care across our Belmar Pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities include performing DUR and final checks, ensuring compliance with policies, and staying updated on formulary and compounding processes while delivering excellent patient service in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with an active license in good standing (Arizona).
• Ability to obtain and maintain additional state licenses required by the pharmacy.
• Must be able to read, understand SOPs and all guidelines as they relate to the process.
• Good math skills are essential.
• Strong organizational, attention to detail and follow-through skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial verification including DUR on all new prescriptions.
• Performs final verification as the final quality check on all prescriptions.
• Supervise technicians and provide consultation to patients and providers.
• Ensures compliance with company Policies and Procedures.
• Stays current on Belmar formulary items and compounding processes.
• Assist with technician duties in data entry, dispensing and prescription pick up.
• Maintain compliance with patient confidentiality requirements and meet efficiency metrics.
