Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist in a full-time, on-site role at a CVS Health store. You will lead, coach, and support the pharmacy team, ensure safe and accurate dispensing, and deliver immunizations while upholding company policies and state regulations.

The position requires an active Pharmacist license, an NPI, and compliance with the DEA Excluded Parties list. Regular shifts include weekends with a strong focus on patient care and team collaboration, and a comprehensive benefits

Active Pharmacist License in the store's state.
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
Assist Pharmacy Manager; supervise the team during bench shifts as needed.
Serve as primary pharmacist-on-duty when the Pharmacy Manager is unavailable.
Support safe dispensing and follow workflow procedures; ensure patient safety.
Provide immunizations; assist technicians to immunize where permitted.
Help manage pharmacy inventory with attention to cold chain products.
Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations; escalate issues as needed.
Assist in schedule writing and maintain a safe, inclusive team environment.
Maintain clinical and technical skills; participate in required trainings and CMEs.
Support access to care and pharmacist-delivered clinical care within scope.
