Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead and support the pharmacy team in our Texas store. You will dispense medications, counsel patients, immunize where permissible, and ensure compliance with state boards and CVS policies.

You will collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager, mentor technicians, manage workflow, and uphold patient safety and service excellence in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and counseling.
• Immunize patients where permissible and coach pharmacy staff.
• Oversee pharmacy operations as proxy for Pharmacy Manager when needed.
• Maintain compliance with state Board regulations and CVS policies.
• Support workflow efficiency and patient experience in a retail setting.
