Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Staff Pharmacist (Hourly) in Rogers, AR to oversee medication inventory and ensure compliance with laws and company policies. You will verify prescription accuracy and lead pharmacy associates to maintain quality in dispensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency (NABP).
• Current, unrestricted pharmacist license in state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Direct and guide pharmacy associates to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Manage pharmaceutical equipment and medication inventory, including stock rotation, recalls, and expired medication processing.
• Perform visual verification of prescriptions for clinical and legal accuracy and adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Adapt to changing production demands while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Obtain and renew required pharmacist permits, registrations, and licenses timely.
• Provide expertise to develop and improve action plans supporting business and customer needs.
• Build relationships with associates and management to implement business initiatives and identify improvement opportunities.
