Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of retail experience
  • Proficiency in a second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing)
  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or PharmD
  • Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
  • Ability to handle stressful situations effectively

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a favorable department image by maintaining clean, organized, and professional work areas.
  • Create a positive department environment through excellent service, personal appearance, conduct, friendliness, and cooperativeness.
  • Adhere to shift hours and meet schedule requirements punctually.
  • Fulfill customers' prescription needs accurately, providing counseling and clinical care as needed.
  • Utilize RX computer systems efficiently to process prescriptions, conduct clinical interventions, and monitor progress toward goals.
  • Comply with all relevant laws, including HIPAA, Fraud, Waste, and Abuse, and DEA procedures.
  • Monitor inventory, schedule staff appropriately, and operate equipment properly to meet budget goals.
  • Maintain policies related to security, sanitation, and recalls, and ensure legal compliance in record keeping.
  • Stay informed about local market conditions and promotional opportunities.
  • Continuously enhance personal and professional pharmacy skills.
