Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to monitor patient drug therapies, dispense medications, and provide drug information. As a leader, you will model professional practice and, when needed, assume pharmacy manager duties in their absence.

The position is on-site with PRN scheduling in Illinois. Required ACPE-accredited pharmacy education, IL license (or LOA with 60 days max), and preferred health system experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy required.
• D. Pharm. preferred or a B.S. degree with at least 2 years direct patient care experience.
• Current pharmacist license in Illinois or pending with a Letter of Authorization (max 60 days).
• Health system experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and commitment to continuous development in pharmacy practice.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all aspects of patient drug therapies and dispense medications.
• Provide drug information and serve as a role model for staff.
• In the absence of the pharmacy manager, assume essential responsibilities of the manager.

Job Description Summary

Staff pharmacists are responsible for monitoring all aspects of patient drug therapies, dispensing medications and providing drug information. As professionals, staff pharmacists serve as role models for all staff; in pharmacy practice as well as behavior. In the absence of the pharmacy manager, a staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the pharmacy manager.

Education

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy required.
• D. Preferred or a B.S degree with at least 2 years, direct patient care experience.

Licensure/Certification/Registry

• Current pharmacist license in the State of Illinois or license pending with a valid Letter of Authorization to practice pharmacy in the State of Illinois required. (The maximum allowable time to practice in a license pending status under the Letter of Authorization is 60 days per licensing regulations.)

Experience

• Health system experience strongly preferred.

Pay Transparency $51.18 - $81.89

Additional compensation in the form(s) of participation in our annual incentive program are dependent on role. Pay is based on factors such as work experience, education, certification(s), training, skills, and competencies related to the role.
