High Country Community Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join our team in Elkin, North Carolina. Under the supervision of the CEO, you will help ensure accuracy during the prescription filling process and support daily pharmacy operations.

This role emphasizes 340B program compliance, collaboration with FQHC providers, and adherence to state and federal regulations. A Pharm.D., current license from the State Board of Pharmacy, and a patient‑centered service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited college is required.
• Current license from the State Board of Pharmacy is required.
• Previous pharmacy experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations with the Pharmacy Manager.
• Ensure accuracy in prescription filling and patient care.
• Maintain 340B inventory and proper segregation from non-340B.
• Ensure compliance with HRSA, 340B, Board of Pharmacy and relevant laws.
• Provide excellent patient service and promote health equity.
