Job description

Staff Pharmacist (3 Spots) is actively hiring for a 13-weeks Temp to Perm role in Southgate, KY. This position is Monday through Friday with one weekend per month. Pharmacists will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care, dispensing prescriptions, and counseling patients, working in either data entry verification or product verification departments.

Position Details:
Location: Southgate, KY
Term of Assignment: 13-weeks Temp to Perm
Shifts: 1st shift, Monday-Friday with 1 weekend a month
Hours: 7:00am 3:00pm, 8:00am 4:00pm, or 9:00am 5:00pm
Closing Shift: Typically scheduled once per week, 11:00am 7:00pm
Weekend Hours: Saturday 7:00am 3:30pm, Sunday 11:00am 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities:
Provide pharmaceutical care including processing and dispensing prescription orders
Counsel patients on healthcare and medication needs
Maintain confidential information and controlled medication documentation
Interact with physicians and use reference materials to resolve prescription issues
Work in two departments: data entry verification (desk-based) or product verification (on your feet, sitting permitted)

Requirements:
Clear and active Pharmacist license in Kentucky
1+ year pharmacy experience, retail or mail order preferred
