Staff Pharmacist - 2nd shift, office setting, 4-10 hour shifts (Finance)

Provide exceptional customer service in a safe and clean environment to ensure the customer's return visit. We accomplish this in many ways including, but not limited to, treating our customers/associates in a fair and ethical manner, promoting an inclusive work environment, being a responsible member of the community and providing the right products at the right time with fair and accurate pricing. Minimum Qualifications

Responsibilities
  1. Promote trust and respect among the team.
  2. Provide customer service that makes both internal and external customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated.
  3. Administer immunizations and provide clinical services following Kroger's procedures.
  4. Assist customers with personal care, nutrition, supplement, mobility, and food products.
  5. Dispense medication according to prescriptions, laws, regulations, and standards.
  6. Review prescriptions for accuracy and determine necessary formulas and ingredients.
  7. Verify new medications against existing medication and patient profiles to prevent interactions.
  8. Verify the work of pharmacy technicians and interns for prescription accuracy.
  9. Compound medications following accepted standards.
  10. Assist the pharmacy manager with HR roles, including advice and incident reports.
  11. Support divisional, corporate, and promotional activities in consultation with the pharmacy manager.
  12. Coach pharmacy team members on dispensing, customer care, and inventory control.
  13. Maintain licensing and comply with all legal requirements.
  14. Ensure quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and proper disposal of hazardous drugs.
  15. Follow safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions to prevent theft, fraud, and accidents.
  16. Report customer and associate accidents promptly.
  17. Adjust personal schedule to staff open shifts as needed.
  18. Comply with company policies, union contracts, and legal regulations including HIPAA and DEA procedures.
  19. Perform all essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
