Job summary

Medix Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacist to support sterile compounding in a high-volume setting. You will participate in cleanroom operations, batch processing, and verification to meet daily volume demands.

This direct-hire, full-time role offers a 4-day work week (1:00 PM–11:30 PM), with opportunities for leadership and growth in production oversight, quality management, and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited program.
• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist License in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
• ACPE-approved IV/Sterile Compounding Certification.

Responsibilities

• Sterile compounding & cleanroom operations: participate in cleanroom processes, assist compounding operations, and support verification pharmacists to meet daily volume demands.
• Flow production support: oversee daily batch workflows and ensure compliance with USP <797>, USP <800>, and FDA 503B standards.
• Verification & compliance: verify raw materials, calculations, in-process compounding, and final drug products for accuracy, sterility, and quality.
• Cross-functional collaboration: work with pharmacy technicians and staff to maintain workflow and adhere to SOPs.
• Future leadership: evolve to increased responsibility in production oversight, quality management, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions

• Sterile Compounding & Cleanroom Operations: Active participation in cleanroom processes, assisting with compounding operations, batching, and supporting Verification Pharmacists to meet daily volume demands.
• Flow Production Support: Assist in overseeing daily batch workflows, ensuring high-throughput operations maintain strict compliance with USP <797>, USP <800>, and FDA 503B regulatory standards.
• Verification & Compliance: Verify raw materials, calculations, in-process compounding, and final drug products for accuracy, sterility, and quality.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with pharmacy technicians and compounding staff to maintain seamless workflow and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Future Leadership: Adapt as the role evolves to take on increased responsibility in production oversight, quality management, and process optimization.

Must-Have Qualifications
