RPh on the Go is actively hiring a Staff Pharmacist in Southgate, Kentucky. This is a 13-week Temporary to Permanent onsite role Pharmacist. The pharmacist will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care to patients, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders.
Position details:
Location: Southgate, Kentucky
Setting: 13-week Temporary to Permanent Staff Pharmacist
Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday Friday with 1 weekend per month
Hours: 7:00am 3:00pm, 8:00am 4:00pm, or 9:00am 5:00pm. Pharmacists are typically scheduled to work the closing shift (11:00am 7:00pm) only once per week
Weekend hours: Saturday 7:00am 3:30pm, Sunday 11:00am 5:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
Provide pharmaceutical care to patients, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling patients regarding healthcare and prescription medication needs, maintaining confidential information, maintaining controlled medication and required documentation
Interact with physicians and utilize reference material to gain information on customers and prescriptions and to resolve any issues that arise
For this role, we re hiring for two different departments: one focuses on data entry verification and desk-based work, while the other is a product verification-based role that involves being on your feet (though sitting is permitted when possible).
Requirements:
Clear and active Pharmacist license in the state of Kentucky
1+ year pharmacy experience, retail or mail order preferred
Working Conditions:
Must be able to stand for long periods when working in the product verification department
Manual dexterity required for sustained periods of processing and dispensing medications
