Our Staff Pharmacists play a critical role in cultivating a culture of excellence in their pharmacy by acting as a role model for all, demonstrating genuine care, and setting the bar for the pharmacy team. As a Staff Pharmacist, you support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and overseeing all aspects of the pharmacy operations. Your responsibilities include:

1. Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizations;
2. Taking direction from the Pharmacy Manager and overseeing the pharmacy during bench shifts, including coaching and providing feedback to the team;
3. Assuming Pharmacy Manager’s duties when serving as the primary pharmacist-on-duty;
4. Supporting safe prescription fulfillment and following workflow procedures;
5. Contributing to positive patient experiences through empathy, collaboration, and resolving medication issues;
6. Offering and administering immunizations, supporting pharmacy technicians in immunization training;
7. Managing pharmacy inventory, especially cold chain products, following best practices;
8. Ensuring compliance with all regulations and policies, escalating issues as needed;
9. Remaining flexible for scheduling and business needs, supporting the pharmacy team, and maintaining relevant skills;
10. Supporting clinical services like testing and prescribing where permissible;
11. Adhering to federal and state laws, regulations, and ethical standards to ensure patient safety and a safe workplace.
