Responsibilities

  • Comply with all Federal and State Laws.
  • Perform initial verification of orders and communicate with healthcare providers regarding dosing or directions.
  • Complete Drug Utilization Reviews as needed.
  • Perform final check to ensure correct medication is delivered as prescribed.
  • Communicate with agency staff to maintain relationships with customers.
  • Train technicians and clerks to assist in workflow.
  • Implement new policies to maintain efficient pharmacy workflow.
  • Provide comprehensive patient care to customers.

Quality First Pharmacy is fast growing and looking for a part time and a full time pharmacist to come and be a part of an amazing team. Quality First is a closed-door pharmacy that delivers throughout Northeastern Oklahoma. Our goal is to improve quality of life for our clients by customizing our services for each individual's pharmaceutical needs. We are committed to providing exceptional service when dealing with individuals in group homes, senior care, assisted living, and nursing homes. Applicant must be a licensed pharmacist in the state of Oklahoma.

Position Description

Our Pharmacists ensure patient safety and satisfaction through the following job duties:

  • Comply with all Federal and State Laws
  • Perform initial verification of orders and communicate with healthcare providers regarding inappropriate dosing or directions
  • Complete Drug Utilization Reviews as needed
  • Perform final check to ensure correct medication is delivered as prescribed by healthcare providers
  • Communicate with various agency staff to maintain effective working relationships with customers
  • Train technicians and clerks to assist in pharmacy workflow
  • Implement new policies and procedures to maintain efficient pharmacy workflow
  • Provides comprehensive patient care to customers
