Job Purpose and Summary

As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in delivering our purpose, modeling our values, and demonstrating genuine care for our patients. You will support the Pharmacy Manager, oversee pharmacy operations, and be responsible for safe and effective medication dispensing, patient counseling, immunizations, and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Managing and improving patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizations.
• Supporting pharmacy operations and team performance, including coaching and feedback.
• Assuming pharmacy manager duties when necessary.
• Ensuring safety and accuracy in prescription fulfillment.
• Providing compassionate patient care and resolving medication or insurance issues.
• Administering immunizations and supporting staff learning.
• Managing inventory, especially cold chain products.
• Ensuring compliance with all laws, regulations, and CVS policies.
• Supporting pharmacy operations and team scheduling.
• Maintaining clinical and technical skills and expanding knowledge.
• Participating in clinical services like testing and prescribing where permitted.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state of the store.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Additional Requirements

• Regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training.
• Strong communication, customer service, and issue resolution skills.
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting and standing.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related experience.
• Flexibility to work in different locations.

Details
