Job summary

Jubilant Radiopharma in Seattle is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead nuclear pharmacy operations, ensure compliance, and engage with customers.

The role blends strategic leadership with hands-on preparation of radiopharmaceuticals, quality checks, and safety monitoring. A BS in pharmacy or PharmD and at least three years in nuclear pharmacy are preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Science degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• At least three (3) years of Nuclear Pharmacy Experience is preferred. Training is provided if no previous nuclear pharmacy experience.
• Supervisory experience in motivating employees and meeting performance goals; CRM, budget development, and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized with effective time management and strong communication skills; self-motivated, flexible, and creative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Compound and/or prepare drugs in compliance with customer orders; elute generators to make material and dose.
• Perform constancy check on dose calibrator and the SCA; ensure equipment remains in proper working order.
• Conduct quality control on kits and instruments; perform bio-assays and various tests related to PET and low energy products.
• Pack and wrap containers and prepare for shipment; operate survey meters and record contamination levels.
• Complete bill of lading, placards and DOT documentation for packaging and shipping doses.
• Monitor the radiation safety program and investigate spills or exposure threats; may perform Radiation Safety Officer duties.

What YOU Will Do: Are you a visionary with a passion for nuclear pharmacy? Jubilant Radiopharma is seeking a dynamic and experienced Staff Pharmacist for our new Seattle location. This is your opportunity to make a significant impact in a role that combines strategic leadership, operational excellence, and customer engagement. Key Responsibilities:

• Compound and/or prepare drugs in compliance with customer orders; Elute generators to make material and combine the materials to create correct drug and dose;
• Perform constancy check on the dose calibrator and the SCA; Ensure equipment, which may include survey meters, single-channel analyzers, and dose calibrators, remains in proper working order; and check for proper functioning and calibration;
• Conduct quality control on kits and instruments; perform bio-assays, lab wipes & surveys, operate single channel analyzer to determine contamination level, document results; Perform a wide variety of quality assurance tests including: tests for sterility, pyrogenicity, and kryptofix as well as chromatography tests, thin layer chromatography tests, alumina tests, molybdenum tests and other tests pertaining to both PET and low energy products;
• Pack and wrap containers and prepare for shipment; Operate survey meters and single channel analyzer to determine contamination level, document results;
• Complete bill of lading, placards and DOT documentation pertaining to the packaging and shipping of doses;
• Monitor the radiation safety program, and investigate spills and threats of radiation exposure; May perform Radiation Safety Officer duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager or in Manager’s absence where appropriate

What YOU Will Bring:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s of Science degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Experience: At least three (3) years of Nuclear Pharmacy Experience is preferred. Training is provided if no previus nuclear pharmacy experience.
• Skills: Supervisory experience in motivating employees and meeting performance goals preferred in a medical environment; customer relationship management, budget development, and problem-solving skills.
• Personal Attributes: Highly organized, effective time management, excellent communication skills, and a self-motivated, flexible, and creative mindset.
