Job summary

Jubilant Radiopharma is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for our Seattle location. The role blends strategic leadership, operational excellence, and customer engagement in nuclear pharmacy.

The incumbent will oversee drug preparation, quality control, safety programs, and regulatory compliance while mentoring staff and ensuring efficient, accurate service to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• At least three (3) years of Nuclear Pharmacy experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience in motivating employees and meeting performance goals.
• Customer relationship management, budget development, and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized with strong time management, excellent communication, and a self-motivated, flexible mindset.

Responsibilities

• Compound and prepare drugs per customer orders and manage generator elution to create correct drug and dose.
• Perform constancy checks on dose calibrator and SCA; ensure equipment remains in proper working order.
• Conduct quality control on kits and instruments; perform biosafety tests and document results.
• Pack/ship doses; complete DOT documentation and packaging requirements.
• Monitor radiation safety program and respond to spills or exposures; may perform Radiation Safety Officer duties.

What YOU Will Do:

Are you a visionary with a passion for nuclear pharmacy? Jubilant Radiopharma is seeking a dynamic and experienced Staff Pharmacist for our new Seattle location. This is your opportunity to make a significant impact in a role that combines strategic leadership, operational excellence, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compound and/or prepare drugs in compliance with customer orders; Elute generators to make material and combine the materials to create correct drug and dose;
• Perform constancy check on the dose calibrator and the SCA; Ensure equipment, which may include survey meters, single-channel analyzers, and dose calibrators, remains in proper working order; and check for proper functioning and calibration;
• Conduct quality control on kits and instruments; perform bio-assays, lab wipes & surveys, operate single channel analyzer to determine contamination level, document results; Perform a wide variety of quality assurance tests including: tests for sterility, pyrogenicity, and kryptofix as well as chromatography tests, thin layer chromatography tests, alumina tests, molybdenum tests and other tests pertaining to both PET and low energy products;
• Pack and wrap containers and prepare for shipment; Operate survey meters and single channel analyzer to determine contamination level, document results;
• Complete bill of lading, placards and DOT documentation pertaining to the packaging and shipping of doses;
• Monitor the radiation safety program, and investigate spills and threats of radiation exposure; May perform Radiation Safety Officer duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager or in Manager's absence where appropriate

What YOU Will Bring:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's of Science degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Experience: At least three (3) years of Nuclear Pharmacy Experience is preferred. Training is provided if no previus nuclear pharmacy experience.
• Skills: Supervisory experience in motivating employees and meeting performance goals preferred in a medical environment; customer relationship management, budget development, and problem-solving skills.
• Personal Attributes: Highly organized, effective time management, excellent communication skills, and a self-motivated, flexible, and creative mindset.
