Remedi SeniorCare Pharmacy seeks an experienced Overnight Staff Pharmacist to ensure accurate medication delivery for long-term care facilities from our Plymouth, MI closed-door facility.

The role entails supervising Floor Technicians, reviewing PV2 tasks, and ensuring regulatory compliance while maintaining high quality patient care overnight.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree required; PharmD preferred.
• Active pharmacist license in state in good standing.
• 1+ year healthcare pharmacy experience preferred; LTC experience favorable.

Responsibilities

• Review Floor Technician work (PV2) and verify contents.
• Manage backorders and NDC changes; ensure count accuracy of control room.
• Oversee Clozapine orders and packaging checks; supervise technicians.

Join our team as a Overnight Staff Pharmacistand dive into a role where you'll be at the heart of ensuring seamless medication delivery to long term care facilities.

Location: On site at our closed-door pharmacy (14700 Helm Ct, Plymouth, MI 48170)

Salary: $124,800 + per year (salary based on experience)

Schedule: 3rd Shift | 7-on / 7-off | 9:00pm - 7:30am

Reports to: Pharmacist in Charge

Key Responsibilities

• Check and review Floor Technician work (PV2)
• Check, verify and replace contents of E-Kits
• Pull control medication to match that of label
• Maintain count accuracy and organization of the control room
• Make necessary NDC changes
• Process new and completed backorders
• Fill and review OOP/LOA requests as they come in
• Fill Clozapine orders
• Check medications that have been packaged (pre-pack)
• Supervising other Pharmacists (when PIC) and overseeing Floor Technicians
• Assist pharmacy technicians as needed
• On-Call when scheduled
• Ensure PV2 is meeting its commitments for pharmacy run times and exceeding expectations of our customers/ colleagues performing PV1
• Abide by all federal and state laws pertaining to the practice of pharmacy
• Follow the pharmacy policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective medication use, including participation in the pharmacy’s continuous quality improvement program
• Report medication errors to management as they occur
• Knowledge of medication, interactions, and dosage
• Complete QA sheets
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Flex into PV1 role as available
• Must adhere to Remedi’s Code of Conduct, follow Remedi Compliance policies and procedures, and report any suspected violations of any federal or state laws to either their direct supervisor, Human Resources or the Compliance Officer

Qualifications/Requirements

• Degree in Pharmacy is required, PharmD preferred
• License to practice in state required (Must be in good standing)
• Minimum of 1 year working in healthcare environment as licensed pharmacist
• LTC Pharmacy or related environment preferred
• Knowledge of Frameworks and Docutrack information systems is strongly preferred
• This position requires the ability to exert up to 40 lbs. of force occasionally and/or lift, carry, push, or move objects
• Position requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time during shift
