Job Purpose and Summary

You will support the Pharmacy Manager in leading the team, managing pharmacy operations, and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizations.
2. Support the Pharmacy Manager by overseeing pharmacy operations during shifts, coaching staff, and providing performance feedback.
3. Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, following workflow procedures and safety protocols.
4. Contribute to positive patient experiences by demonstrating empathy, collaborating with healthcare teams, and resolving medication or insurance issues.
5. Proactively offer immunizations and support pharmacy technicians in immunization delivery.
6. Manage pharmacy inventory, with attention to cold chain products, and ensure compliance with regulations.
7. Maintain compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and CVS policies.
8. Support clinical services such as testing and prescribing where permitted, to enhance patient outcomes.
9. Stay current with industry developments and maintain relevant skills through training and CME.
10. Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisors.
