Pyramid Consulting Healthcare is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for an onsite role in Newburyport, MA. This 06+ months contract offers long-term potential and a competitive hourly rate. You will interpret and compound prescriptions, counsel patients, perform verifications, and ensure drug interactions are addressed.

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
• RPh license required.
• Excellent attention to detail and patient care.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software and computer systems.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret and compound prescriptions and dispense medications within regulatory guidelines.
• Consult with customers regarding medication use and potential drug interactions.
• Counsel patients and resolve complex issues related to their medications.
• Perform first and second verification of prescription orders and conduct drug utilization reviews.
• Communicate effectively with patients and prescribers, fielding inquiries and addressing concerns.

Immediate need for a talented Staff Pharmacist. This is a 06+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Newburyport, MA (Onsite).

Pay Range: $64.8/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and compound physicians' prescriptions and dispense medications within regulatory guidelines.
• Consult with customers regarding medication use and potential drug interactions.
• Counsel patients and resolve complex issues related to their medications.
• Perform first and second verification of prescription orders and conduct drug utilization reviews.
• Communicate effectively with patients and prescribers, fielding inquiries and addressing concerns.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• RPh license required.
• Attention to detail and excellent patient care skills.
• Proficiency in computer systems and software relevant to pharmacy operations.
