Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Staff Pharmacist located in Manhattan, NY 10029. The Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medication, providing drug information and counseling to patients, collaborating with healthcare providers, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. The Staff Pharmacist will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Dispensing, Drug Information, and Counseling skills
• Collaboration with Healthcare Providers
• Knowledge of laws and regulations related to pharmacy practice
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Current Pharmacist license in the state of New York
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• Spanish speaking preferred
• Micromerchant/PrimeRX knowledge preferred but can be taught

Additional Details

• Pay range: $65.00/hr - $70.00/hr (negotiable, cash options available)
• Less than 5 prescriptions per day
• Very slow and quiet store environment
• Great learning environment for new pharmacists or those learning Micromerchant/PrimeRX (knowledge can be taught)
