This role reports to the Pharmacy Manager and involves receiving, preparing, and delivering prescriptions accurately and on time. Responsibilities include managing inventory, counseling patients, and educating customers through public relations activities.

What you'll do
  1. Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely.
  2. Manage inventory levels of medications and supplements to meet patient needs.
  3. Counsel patients regarding new and additional medications in a friendly and proactive manner.
  4. Create awareness and educate customers via public health initiatives.
  5. Provide timely resolutions to patient and doctor requests/issues.
  6. Review and control costs within the pharmacy.
  7. Train new and existing pharmacy colleagues, including technicians, interns, students, and IPGs.
What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist license.
  • Strong customer relations skills and professionalism.
  • Leadership and performance management abilities.
  • Experience with community marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving skills with ability to execute action plans.
  • Proficiency with personal computing and pharmacy systems; knowledge of KROLL system is an asset.
