Job summary

North Central Surgical Center Hospital (NCSC) in Dallas, TX is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to ensure the safe and effective use of medications, verify orders, monitor therapies, and provide patient care. You will join a close-knit team dedicated to treating patients as our own.

The schedule is 11:30a–8p, Monday–Friday with rotating weekend on-call. Responsibilities include supervising technicians, participating in medical emergencies, and ensuring prompt attendance on site.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
• BS or PharmD from ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Minimum of two years of hospital experience (waived with PGY1/PGY2 residency).
• Completion of a PGY1 pharmacy residency preferred.
• Willingness to work weekend on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Verify medication orders and monitor drug therapies as a Staff Pharmacist.
• Compound and dispense medications and advocate for patients.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and assist in medical emergency response.
• Ensure prompt work-site attendance and readiness.
